Account Executive

Position Overview
The Account Executive (AE) will be responsible for driving new business revenue by owning the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying leads to presenting solutions and closing deals. This role is an individual contributor position, designed for a high-performing salesperson with a proven track record in B2B SaaS sales. Success will be measured primarily by quota attainment, new customer acquisition, and contribution to overall company growth.

- Pipeline Generation – Proactively source, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities through outbound outreach, inbound follow-up, and partner channels.
- Full-Cycle Sales – Own the sales process end-to-end: discovery, demo, objection handling, proposal, negotiation, and close.
- Quota Achievement – Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Solution Selling – Develop deep understanding of customer pain points and position AuditMiner’s solutions to meet business objectives.
- CRM & Process Discipline – Maintain accurate pipeline data, activity logs, and forecasting in HubSpot (or other CRM).
- Collaboration – Work closely with Marketing to optimize lead follow-up and feedback loops, and with Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding and handoff.
- Market Feedback – Serve as the voice of the customer, sharing insights on buyer behavior, competitive positioning, and product feedback.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position for at least 40 hours per week. Working days are Monday through Friday, with flexibility to align with customer needs.
Ability to travel up to 10% for company events, customer meetings, and/or conferences.
Required Qualifications
- 4–6 years of B2B SaaS sales experience (closing role, not SDR only)
- Demonstrated success achieving/exceeding quotas ($600K–$1M ARR typical)
- Strong discovery, demo, and negotiation skills
- Experience managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
- Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and disciplined sales processes
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling into accounting, auditing, or CPA firms
- Background in mid-market SaaS sales ($20K–$75K ACV)
- Network or existing relationships with decision-makers in financial services
