Role Overview: 

We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer with at least 2 years of experience to join our growing team. You will be working with our technology stack, which includes VueJS, Python, Django, and Azure. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in full-stack engineering and be eager to grow their skills in both frontend and backend development. You’ll write high-quality, tested code, collaborate with other engineers, QA, and product teams, and contribute to building a product that delights, amazes and disrupts. Expect to participate in daily stand ups that blend work updates with a bit of fun and to join other calls collaborating for one to four hours a day. If you love crafting high quality code while working closely as a team, this is the job for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications using VueJS, Python, and Django
• Collaborate with the product team and senior engineers to implement features and translate requirements into quality code
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following best practices for software development
• Participate in code reviews, learning from feedback and contributing to team code quality
• Assist in deploying and managing applications on Azure
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, with guidance from senior team members when needed
• Continuously learn and stay current with our technology stack and industry best practices

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of experience in software development, with exposure to both front-end and back-end technologies
• Experience with VueJS or similar modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular)
• Working knowledge of Python and Django or similar web frameworks
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), and version control systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
• Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment

Preffered Qualifications:

• Experience in finance, accounting or SaaS industries
• Exposure to containerization (e.g., Docker)
• Contributions to open source projects or personal coding projects outside of work
